At the second working meeting on the project “Cultural and social consequences of emigration on Bulgarian society (1990-2019) (LEFT BEHIND)” our team began the scientific work on the project. Methodological and theoretical possibilities for future work were discussed. The so far compiled bibliography, outlining the main thematic fields of academic interest in relation to The LEFT BEHIND, was also examined.
Each researcher stated their topic as well as the geographical scope of their future field ethnographic research. Thus, the project team made a request for maximum coverage of the country and work among different local and ethnic communities. That is how, a wealth of data and a basis for future (including comparative) analyzes and research will be achieved.
