In 2020, in the period between 20 – 30 of August, the senior Assistant Yelis Erolova and Behrin Shopova, PhD, visited the town of Gotse Delchev and the villages of Gorno Dryanovo, Ognyanovo and Kochan. They managed to do several meetings and interviews that were held among Bulgarians, Bulgarian Muslims (Pomaks) and Roma. The team made contact with business representatives, clergy and a representative of the mufti’s office in the city. Thanks to this field research, different migration models were localized, and their influence on the lives of other relatives in Bulgaria was traced. The analysis and presentation of the collected field material are forthcoming.
